Volunteers are a vital part of life here at PAWS. They provide undivided attention to the animals, help staff around the office, etc. To become a volunteer, attend one orientation class and turn in a completed application (App below). No sign up is needed, but a call or email informing your attendance is appreciated for head count and preparation purposes. *Please note: Those under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) at the orientation AND at all times when volunteering. A parent of a friend or a grandparent would not be acceptable as accompaniment when volunteering at PAWS, unless they are guardians appointed by the courts.

When arriving, please enter by ringing the bell at the 'Animal Receiving/Surrender' door, located at the left side of the building by the tall flag pole.

**For court-ordered community service, please contact the shelter at 615-898-7740 for more info. Hours completed in this program do not count towards court-ordered needs.**
